How Does Profhilo Work? Profhilo is one of the best aesthetic treatments in Ireland and in SISU Clinic. If you are considering facial enhancement to address an area of the appearance you want to improve, you may have come across the term "profhilo" or "filler" in recent years. Profhilo remains the best aesthetic treatment for glowing skin.
What is the difference between profhilo and botox? Both Profhillo and dermal fillers use the same ingredient, hyaluronic acid, but they work very differently and often create different results. One of the most commonly used fillers is hy-auric acid (HA). This complex sugar, which is normally found in the skin, is biocompatible and safe and helps the skin retain moisture and youthful plushiness. The hyaluronic acid used in skin fillers is cross-linked so it can be modified to stay in the body longer, but remember that it does not last forever. If you would like to see our profhilo filler before and after photos, check our our Instagram @sisuclinic or visit our website at wwww.sisuclinic.com/treatments !
Hyaluronic acid is best known as a filler and is usually used to give lips volume and contour other areas of the face. When skin fillers are injected, they stay where they are placed, making them ideal for improving lips and cheeks. Hyaluronic acid is the main actor in the injection of dermal fillers, but is also used in our Profhilo treatment. The difference between using these fillers is that when used, ProfHilo does not alter the structure of your face. Hyaluronic acid included in profhilo is the best aesthetic treatment for glowing skin!
Dermal fillers and Profhilo are both excellent treatment options, but you should consult a SISU doctor who will help you decide which is best for you. You can book in for a FREE consultation at any of our SISU Clinics! Profhilo is also great at rejuvenating areas such as your hands or neck. The Profhilo neck treatment is growing in popularity at SISU CLINIC and in Ireland.

What is profhilo? If you want to know more about these treatments, have a look at our skin fillers and the Profhilo treatment advice right on our website where the differences and effects of the individual treatments are discussed in great detail.
There are similarities between Profhilo and dermal fillers, although the two treatments differ in terms of the type of treatment and the effects they give. The results are also different: ProfHilo focuses on improving the overall quality and appearance of the skin, while Dermal Fillers improve a specific treatment area such as under-eye, lips or smile lines.
Dermal fillers are used to restore the natural volume of the skin, rather than treating individual lines as Botox does. If you have lost volume in a certain area and want a more pronounced rejuvenation, a skin filler can be a good option. However, profhilo can perhaps be the best treatment is if you are new to cosmetics and want a more subtle look without filler or are not ready to have a dermal fillers. It is possible (and safe) to get a ProfHilo treatment, even though you already have or plan to have Botax or other dermal fillers.
What is the difference between profhilo and botox? At SISU Clinic, our Profhilo treatment is most often paired with Botox as it gives our patients this rejuvenated, youthful looking glow they desire. This helps to tighten and rejuvenate the skin. Botox fills in the lines you are concerned about whilst profhilo helps you to achieve that youthful glow.
